Cookies and local storage help the Everyday website remember access and preferences. They serve different purposes. You can remove them in your browser's site-data settings.
| Item | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| everyday_support cookie | Supports the help form's request validation. | Session cookie. Browser session-restore behavior can vary. |
| everyday_windows cookie | Remembers access to the paid Windows web guide. | Up to 30 days after opening the purchase access link, subject to browser and server cleanup. |
| Everyday local storage | Saves chosen guides, completed steps, and text-size preferences. | Until cleared by you or the browser. |
| Windows guide local storage | Saves progress and text-size preferences for that guide. | Until cleared by you or the browser. |
How to remove saved information
The free library includes “Clear my saved guides and progress.” The paid guide includes “Clear my completed steps.” To remove all preferences and access cookies too, clear site data for damodigitals.com in your browser settings. This may close your access session; reopen the private link in your Gumroad purchase to return.
Blocking cookies can prevent the support form or paid-guide access from working. Clearing local storage does not delete support emails or Gumroad purchase records. Use the privacy request contact for those questions.
Other requests and services
The /start/ product hub counts first-party page and product-link events without setting an analytics cookie in its page script. Ordinary hosting logs still apply. Google Fonts requests on the main site and Gumroad checkout are separate from Everyday's saved progress. Gumroad uses its own cookies and privacy settings on its service.
