For people who build websites with Claude Code

The part every Claude Code website tutorial skips.

You built the site. It looks great. Now a real business owner is asking how they edit it, what it costs monthly, and whether they own it. This is the contract, the price list, the handoff plan and the first-client playbook a working studio uses to answer them.

The questions

A million people watched the build video. The comments are all about what comes after.

"How does the client update it?"Three honest patterns. Which one fits depends on how often their content changes, and you pick it before you quote.
"What do I actually charge?"Not $10,000. The range that closes with local businesses, the monthly plan that makes it a business, and how to say it out loud.
"What do I put in writing?"A two-page plain-English agreement. Ownership, hosting, revisions, cancellation, what happens if either side walks.
"Where does client two come from?"The same place client one did. A demo-first message that gets a reply, and the referral ask timed to the day they are happiest.
What is inside

Eight documents and five scripts, all used on paying clients.

01

Handoff Decision Tree

The three ways to let a client edit their site, when each is right, and the approval flow that stops "just one small thing" from eating your week.

02

Client Agreement

Plain-English contract for an AI-built site plus a monthly care plan, with the kickoff checklist. The three clauses that make clients say yes are marked.

03

Pricing Sheet

Four tiers from $499 to $4,950, monthly from $49 to $1,650, standalone prices, add-ons, and word for word how to say the number.

04

First Client Playbook

The 40-name list, the demo-first text message, discovery questions, two phone scripts for when you have no network, the objection table.

05

Launch Checklist

60 checks across facts, photos, phone, technical, accessibility, search and handoff. Each one is there because it was missed once.

06

Verification Scripts

Five Playwright scripts: accessibility, mobile overflow, layout shift, broken images and dead links, Netlify packaging. Under a minute per site.

07

Client Emails

Kickoff, first preview, facts confirmation, launch handoff, monthly summary. Fill the brackets, send.

08

Windows Setup and Breakage Guide

Every tutorial was recorded on a Mac. Native vs WSL, the fifteen breakages you will hit, and the fix for each.

BONUS

Your First 50 Leads in 30 Minutes

Three ways to list nearby businesses with no website, which categories to call first, and a call-sheet tool that scores leads, picks the right script and tracks follow-ups.

Straight from the kit
"A $500 one-off site is $500 once. The same client on the smallest plan is $1,087 in year one and $588 every year after, for maybe two hours of work. Over 24 months one mid-tier client is worth about $20,000."03 · Pricing Sheet
"You own the site. Domain in your name, hosting in your name, me as a collaborator, and a zip of everything at launch. If I got hit by a bus tomorrow, any developer could pick up the folder."01 · What to say when they ask "what if you disappear?"
"I built a whole site around one fact from research: fresh produce every Thursday. The shop sold no vegetables. That single wrong fact touched seven parts of the site and cost a rebuild."05 · The three most expensive misses

Questions

Who made this?

Mohammed, who runs DaMo Digitals, a small web studio in Boise, Idaho. Sites built with Claude Code for local businesses: a wholesale distributor, a medical transportation company, restaurants and shops. The documents in the kit are the ones used on those clients, with names removed.

Is the contract legally reviewed?

It is a working template a studio uses, written in plain English so clients read it. It is not legal advice. Have a lawyer in your state read it once before you rely on it. The kit says this on the document itself.

Does it teach Claude Code?

No. Free videos do that well. This starts at the moment the build is done.

Will the prices work in my city?

They are a working studio's prices in a mid-size US city in 2026. Big-city prices run higher; the structure (build fee plus monthly plan, 3-month minimum) is what transfers. The sheet explains how to move the numbers without breaking the logic.

What format?

A zip with a PDF folder, a Markdown folder (paste into Notion or your own docs), and the five scripts as .mjs files. Nothing requires an account or a subscription.

Refunds?

30 days, no questions, through Gumroad.
